YOUR INFORMATION

Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 29, 2026

MindMeld is a daily word game operated by Pinebox Studios. This policy describes how information is handled when you play, share a room, or use an optional account.

Information you provide

The app also stores game and sign-in information in your browser so it can remember shared comparisons and keep you signed in. Account emails and account identifiers are not added to shared game records.

How information is used

Information is used to run accounts, send requested verification and password-reset emails, show room comparisons, maintain the service, and respond to requests. We may review shared answers and match statistics to improve prompts and answer matching.

MindMeld’s game and account pages do not include advertising scripts or tracking pixels. Account emails are used for account and service communications, rather than being displayed in rooms.

Who can see shared answers

Anyone with a personal invitation can read the sender’s answers and start a separate comparison with them. Other recipients’ comparisons are not included in that invitation. Anyone with a group or returned comparison link can read that room’s animal names and answers and may forward the link to others. Group links allow additional people to join; individual comparisons allow only two players. Links are the access mechanism, and a MindMeld account is not required. MindMeld does not know who belongs to your messaging group. Do not put private information in your answers or post links where you do not want them shared.

Service providers and technical information

MindMeld uses Supabase for authentication and shared-game storage, Vercel for website hosting, and Brevo to deliver account emails. These providers receive the information needed for their roles. For example, Brevo processes recipient addresses and account email content.

Providers may process technical information such as IP addresses, browser or device details, request times, and delivery or security logs to operate and protect their services. Their policies describe their own processing, and data may be processed outside your country.

Browser storage and your choices

You can play without an account. MindMeld uses local browser storage for remembered games, room links, and account sessions. Logging out removes the local account session; it does not delete your shared answers or account. Clearing site data in your browser removes local copies, but does not remove records already stored with the service.

The app does not change the storage needed for game and account features in response to a browser’s Do Not Track signal. You can control browser storage through your browser settings; blocking it can prevent games and sign-ins from being remembered after the page closes.

Retention and deletion requests

Account and room records can remain stored after you log out or clear browser data. Shared answers are stored separately from accounts, so deleting an account does not automatically identify or delete its game entries. The app currently has no self-service account or room deletion screen.

For access, correction, deletion, or other privacy requests, email hello@pinebox.studio. We may ask for information to verify your request and identify the relevant records. Do not send passwords or verification codes. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under applicable privacy laws.

Questions about children’s information

MindMeld does not ask players for their age. Parents or guardians with questions or concerns about a child’s account or shared answers can contact us at hello@pinebox.studio.

Changes and contact

Changes to this policy will appear on this page with an updated date. For questions about MindMeld’s information practices, contact Pinebox Studios at hello@pinebox.studio.
